Customers who need to return the CO₂ laser tubes shall break the laser tubes and mail both ends of the tubes back to our company. In order to prevent damages on the lenses during the smashing process, the method for smashing tubes is shown as follows:

1. Users shall use a wire-cutter or long-nose plier to pull off the tungsten rod on the electrode, or knock off the gas inlet to blow off the gas inside, preventing damages on the lenses during the smashing process, shown in Figure 1.
2. Hammer the heads off at the both ends of the laser tube. The hitting point shall be far enough from the position of the lenses. The best method is to hammer the end of Ф60mm tube, shown in Figure 2.
3. Users shall cover the laser label with scotch tape to prevent it from damage, shown in Figure 3.
4. Users shall package the copper tubes (①), labels (②), tube heads (③), shown in Figure 4. The lenses shall be wrapped by tissues or similar materials. All the parts mentioned above shall be mailed to our company for verification.
