A CO2 laser tube within the warranty period under the following situations shall be covered by our company's quality warranty:
- The power of a regular laser tube drops to below 70% of the nominal power; the power of a Series-A laser tube drops to below 85% of the nominal power.
- If the surface engraved by an engraving laser tube is uneven, the laser tube can be returned. An engraved sample shall be returned with the laser tube together.
- The inner tubes, including the discharge tube and the water-cooling tube, of a CO2 laser tube are broken due to stress. The outer tube is broken and the fracture surface is in a circular shape.
- The laser spot of a CO2 laser tube is abnormal (test method: aim the laser to a 5mm plexiglass 1500-2000mm away from the laser tube). However, a laser tube with abnormal laser spot caused by the improper support position, installation direction, clamping force and other human factors is not covered by the warranty.
- An intact CO2 laser tube cannot be ignited or sparked properly under proper operating voltage.
- A CO2 laser tube can be ignited, but the color of its’ inner discharge tube is abnormal (white, purple, blue), and the output power is lower than the nominal power.
- Water leakage occurs at an intact water-cooling cap.
- The output lens of a CO2 laser tube is broken while the lens is clean.
- The CO2 laser tube has been damaged at the time the user receives it. In this case, the user shall apply the return request according to the requirements of our company.
- The inner tube is filled with water while there is no obvious crack.
Note: If the quality problem mentioned above can be confirmed by the after-sales service department, the user shall break the tube and send the required parts back to our company. If the quality problem of a CO2 laser tube cannot be confirmed, users shall return the entire CO2 laser tube to our company for confirmation. Refer to “Return Policies for CO2 Laser Tubes” for specifications.
A CO2 laser tube under the following situations shall not be covered by the warranty:
- The warranty of the CO2 laser tube is expired.
- Due to improper installation (i.e. the water outlet of the tube is not installed vertically upward), the CO2 laser tube is damaged by the air bubbles remaining in the tube or by significant temperature difference of the cooling water.
- The lens film is damaged by pollution on the lens or improper way of wiping lens; the output lens is damaged by condensation from significant temperature difference of the cooling water.
- For a CO2 laser tube with an anti-dust lens, the inner lens (output lens) is damaged or polluted because the outer lens (anti-dust lens) is taken off by the user without approval, or because the output lens is wiped by user.
- Due to the blockage of water-cooling system caused by poor water quality, the laser spot is abnormal, the output power is unstable, or the CO2 laser tube is damaged.
- Due to external factors, including human, external force, transportation, working environment, lack of water or improper cooling process, the CO2 laser tube is damaged.
- Due to physical damage on the cathode and anode electrodes, the CO2 laser tube cannot work properly.
- Due to excessive high temperature of the working environment, the output power of the laser tube is unstable, or the laser spot is abnormal.
- The high-voltage protection cap of the CO2 laser tube is taken off by the user without permission of our company or our authorized distributors.
- Due to excessive operating current, the electrode tube is blackened, the output power decreases, or the laser spot is abnormal.
- Radial fracture occurs to a CO2 laser tube.
- Due to insufficient protection at the high-voltage end during installation and operation, the CO2 laser tube is damaged.
